This policy explains how MUSUWA handles personal data in its messaging app, web app, and related services.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide messaging and protect accounts.
- Account and profile data, including username, display name, email address, phone number, and avatar.
- Messages, media, files, and call connection metadata.
- Friends, groups, blocks, and reports.
- Location only when a user explicitly chooses to send a location.
- Device information, push tokens, IP address, security logs, and diagnostics.
3. How we use data
We use data to provide messaging, file sharing, calls, synchronization, notifications, abuse prevention, moderation, reliability, and support. We do not sell personal data for advertising.
4. Sharing and processors
Data is shown to intended recipients and may be processed by service providers for hosting, object storage, push notifications, communications, security, and support. We do not sell data to third parties.
5. Security and retention
We encrypt data in transit and use access controls and auditing. We retain data while needed to provide the service and delete associated data after account deletion, except limited records required for security, fraud prevention, or law.
6. Your rights and deletion
You can access settings to update information, block users, export data, and delete your account. If you cannot use the app, submit a request through the account deletion page.
7. Children
MUSUWA is not primarily directed to children. Where local law requires parental consent, users must obtain it before using the service.
